Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
A psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience in diverse clinical settings, Kathrin Dentel centers her career around helping adults, teens and children with ADHD become their best selves through improved diagnosis, education, skills, support and medication.
Having seen firsthand how ADHD is often ignored and stigmatized, Kathrin is passionate about providing patients access to the proper tools needed to achieve extraordinary growth and success at any age. With both a patient- and team-centered approach to care, she develops strategic and personalized solutions that spur long-lasting, life-changing results.
Before joining Winston Center, Kathrin led multidisciplinary care teams as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Valley Cities Behavioral Health. As the recipient of the clinic’s Extraordinary Leadership Award, she spearheaded comprehensive psychiatric assessments while collaborating with patients and their families to develop treatment plans that optimized functionality, therapeutic modalities and psychiatric medication options.
Prior to this, Kathrin served various roles at Harborview Medical Center, specializing in psychiatric emergency services, sexual assault examinations and acute inpatient psychiatry. She has additional experience as a clinical teaching assistant at the University of Washington and an adjunct clinical nursing instructor at Seattle Pacific University.
Kathrin earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University.
