As more people recognize the importance of early intervention for speech conditions and schools diagnose more students with special education needs, Winston Center’s speech therapy practice continues to grow. Committed to maintaining its reputation for best-in-class speech therapy services, Winston Center added Mary Kelleher and Aubrey Powell to its team of speech-language pathology professionals.
As clinical fellows, Mary and Aubrey receive mentored professional experience to support them in becoming independent providers of speech-language pathology services. They will apply what they learned in academic settings to real-life scenarios, expanding and refining their skills as practitioners.
Mary began as a practicum student at Winston Center. Additionally, she served as an intern at the East Valley School District. Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders as well as a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Eastern Washington University. She’s also a member of the Philanthropic Education Organization and volunteers with events such as Steps for Autism and Walk for Apraxia.
Prior to joining Winston Center, Aubrey worked as a graduate practicum student at Bozeman Public Schools and Gro Speech Language Learning, a Bozeman clinic providing comprehensive treatment for speech and language conditions among children. At the University of Montana, Aubrey earned a bachelor’s degree in communicative sciences and disorders and master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Because Aubrey was a late reader herself, she knows firsthand how disheartening reading challenges can be, and brings an empathetic approach to care.
Winston Center provides a welcoming and supportive environment for clients to build communication skills. Learn more about our speech therapy services.
